Yacht Marina Langkawi
On the next day, we decided not to take any group tour but we rented a car to tour around Langkawi Island. Honestly, you are hard to get lost in Langkawi because there are several main roads only. Besides, it is an island unless you want drive to the sea if not you can’t get out from it.
Our first destination was Telaga Harbour Park (Yacht Marina). From the resort, we drove along the Pantai Cenang road toward to Pantai Kok road. The scenery along the road was beautiful and the weather was of course hot. We have stopped at the road side for a couple of photos. Then, we continued our journey.
You may curious why Telaga Harbour Park? To be more precisely, it was Perdana Quay, Telaga Harbour Park. The main reason we were there because of our former Prime Minister, Tun Dr. Mahathir and his Japanese partner’s bakery, the Loaf Bakery & Bistro. We want to have a look on his bakery. I still remember he said Malaysians will have different opinion about bread when they have eaten really nice bread. For this reason, we wish to have a look.
The Loaf Bakery & Bistro is located near to Yacht marina, the view to the Yacht marina from inside of the bakery makes you feel like summer time in Europe but tropical taste. We did bought two breads from the Loaf bakery before we continue our journey to Kok beach. What the breads taste like? Well, ask my wife.
We didn’t stop long at Perdana Quay. After that, we continued our journey to Kok beach (Pantai Kok). Both of us agreed that the beach here is much, much beautiful and cleaner than Cenang and Tengah beaches. Don’t take our words, see the pictures for yourself. I would say, you should not miss Kok beach in your visit to Langkawi.
