Valentine’s day

roses

The romantic content of the Valentine’s day was not strong as you can feel in other countries. In Finland, 14th February is better known as Friendship day (Ystavanpaiva in Finnish). It is a day dedicated to the celebration of the beautiful bond of friendship. Finns will send gifts, chocolates and flowers to their friends.

Really different, right?

Well, our first Valentine’s day in Finland was simply. Nope, not candle light dinner but “normal light” dinner only. We just have home made dinner at home and of course, roses.

Appetizer,

Main course,

Dessert,

I was the chef for the main course only, shhhhhhhhh….don’t tell other because I’m not good in cooking :|
