Little bit about Malaysian in Finland
Jul 27
There are few Malaysians in Finland, but I managed email to several of them. Most of them were married to Finland. Besides, I understand that USM has student exchange programme with University of Helsinki, Finland. Malaysian undergraduate students will be here for one semester or two under this student exchange programme. So, don’t miss this chance, USM students (you are lucky). There are several restaurants operate by Malaysian…….
My girl friend and I have been one of them in Helsinki during our last holiday. The owner is from Pahang state. Of course, I have introduced this restaurant (New Bamboo Center) to my Finns colleagues and my group too. We have our lunch once at that restaurant last winter. Besides, there are two Chinese restaurants (Dragon palace and China Jade) operate by Malaysian in Turku, Dragon palace located at the city centre and China Jade just behind BioCity, Turku Science Park. I have been China Jade restaurant several times, so do my group. The owner of the China Jade is from Penang. When we use Hokkien to speak, my colleagues start to look at us weirdly because they have no idea what language is it?
