Finnish Strawberry
Jul 22
It is summer now in Finland. Just in time when I return from Malaysia. My Finn colleagues remind me not to forget buy some Finnish Strawberry several times. Yup…I bought some this morning. They are good though and sweet.
Yummy…You can buy them easily in the city centre especially in the Market Place, almost every stall selling strawberry. The price is not too expensive, 2.5 euro/L. My colleagues told me, in some places I even can do self-picking from the farm and then of course I must pay for it. There are many strawberry farms in Finland which you can do self-picking. Check out this site, the word “itsepoiminta (I)” (self-picking) after the word “Mansikka” (Strawberry) means self-picking is allow. Mostly these strawberry farms are far away from the city areas.
