Handicrafts_museum
On Turku day (21st September 2008) we paid the Luostarinmäki handicrafts museum a visit together with another Malaysian here. On that day, entrance fee for almost every museum in Turku was 50% off. I already have that thought to pay this museum a visit for months, finally I made it.

This museum (18 old wooden houses) is located at the same site as those wooden houses were built 200 years ago. This area was the only area left when the disastrous fire destroyed entire Turku city in the year 1827. It turned to Handicrafts museum in the year 1940. Until today some of the old masters still working in the museum demonstrating how the skills and knowledge of traditional crafts to visitors.
