Bat cave in Langkawi

After the fish farm, we ahead to a cave, bat cave. The boat man jut passed us torchlight and he waited at the small jetty near to the bat cave. We were on our own to explore the cave (not scary, don’t worry). When we stepped near to the cave, awful smell was sneaked in to our noses immediately. I think you know what cause that smell, right? With torchlight we have, we managed to see many bats hung at the roof of the cave. The journey in that bat cave was not long, it just took a while then we returned to the boat again.
After the bat cave, we were on our way back to the jetty at Tanjung Rhu. Along the way, there are many small islands with different natural outlook. The boat man slowed the boat when we were passed an island looks like a human face but to me it looks like horse face. What do you think? There is an island looks like a shoe. Well, this time I fully agreed with the boat man.
The weather was not clear during that moment. It was going to rain, if not, we able to see Thai island of Ko Tarutao, Thailand on that journey. What a shame. Speaking of weather, the wind was strong while we were on our way back to Tanjung Rhu jetty. Besides, our boat was actually on the Straits of Malacca. As the result, our boat was “jumping” along the journey. Scary? Yes, it was. Several times, the boat was “jumped” up for few seconds before touched on the water surface again. I think you can imagine now how scary is?
Finally, we arrived at the jetty in a piece. That’s it our mangrove tour. Our next station was seafood restaurant in the Kuah town. Of course, it was evening and it was time for dinner.
