Arrived in Amsterdam
Last Thursday, we had our short vacation in Amsterdam, Netherlands. We arrived at the Central Train Station of Amsterdam in late afternoon. Situation there is a bit messy due to construction works around the Central Train Station. It is a bit hard to find the way. Luckily the length of day is long in Summer, the sky still bright if not we have to walk in dark.
During our vacation, we stayed at Jordan district (both of us agreed that was a good choice to stay for our vacation). You can find many luxury/budget hotels or hostels close to or in red light district, however, it is not a good place for you to have a good sleep. Our first choice was a room at WestViolet Bed & Breakfast, however rooms were fully booked. Therefore, the owner offered us a studio room located a bit further from their B&B but quiet and cosy. One disadvantage is the bathroom and toilet are small. Other than that we have no complaint about this studio room. The heater in the room caught our attention. In Amsterdam, people use gas to warm the entire room.
When you are out just turn the flame to the minimum level. Humm… this sound a little bit scarily.

is the studio room still consider as a budget place? looks very warm and cosy esp the first pic
