I was hunting for a table and I really prefer heavy table top. In order to do so, I might have to spend much unfortunately I have tight budget on this. Therefore, it was a bit painful to find the suitable one.

I searched through the IKEA table top series, but, I can’t find any suits my need until I came across to this post entry, Nick’s butcher block work top in IKEA hack blog last week. This post entry inspired me that a table top I could have if I “hacked” a little bit on IKEA countertop series.

Searched through the counter top series, I found this new Antonius desk top. It is 12 kg in weight. The weight is okay with me and also the price. Bingo, I found my table top.

Bought the desk top and then have Vika curry legs installed on it. Well, my table is ready now.
