Japanese airline prepares to test biofuel blend made from flowers and algae

Japan Airlines will become the fourth airline in a year to use biofuel during a test flight tomorrow. The hour-long Boeing 747-300 flight will be powered by 50 per cent traditional jet fuel while the other half came from a biofuel blend.[......]

Hopefully this test fly will give some promising result. A lot of people remember well how painful it was when the global fuels price was sky high last year. Look at the bright side from that crisis, more funding and research works were carried out on finding alternative choice such like biofuel to replace the fossil oils. People have suffered enough when fuels price was sky high in last year.
