Before we left for Amsterdam, friends of us reminded us don’t forget to pay China town a visit. They told us we can find many Chinese cuisines (roasted duck, roasted chicken, roasted pork and so on) which we used to have back home. Of course, we don’t forget this. China town of Amsterdam is located in the Red light district. From the red light district walked towards the Central Train station then we arrived at China town.
As friends of us told us before, there are many familiar Chinese cuisines available. Besides, Chinese restaurants we also found Japanese, Indonesian, Vietnamese and Malaysian restaurants too. There are several groceries stores (some of them even have a couple of levels to go) selling many Asian daily usage goods which we can’t get them easily in Finland. We bought a couple of goods from those groceries stores before we left for Turku.
Speaking of the cuisines, yes, we tried our best. During our trip, we ate roasted pork, roasted duck, roasted chicken and other cuisines as our lunch or dinner. We also had Dim Sum as our breakfast once. Yummy… food were good however the service provided by those restaurant was bad. We were very unsatisfied with their service. We felt kind like discriminate by them although we can speak their language to communicate with them.
