Welcome to the world you used to “fire”
The name of Blogger was like “a nightmare” to someone in Malaysia before 8th March 2008. Bloggers were labelled as liar, monkey, goblok, karaoke singer, pondan and disturbed people by the you-know-what-party-is before 8th March 2008.
However, new dawn was showed after 8th March 2008. After “N+N” times of post mortem for why you-know-what-party-is lost in 12th Malaysian General Election (8th March 2008), those used to “taruk kuat kuat” on bloggers said that they had ignored the influence of Bloggers. Suddenly, many (some) of them announced they are joining or going to join the group or giving an order to have a blog like this news.
Welcome, welcome to the world you used to “fire” on.
Malaysia’s ruling party requires members to have campaign blogs
The Associated Press
updated 2:55 a.m. ET April 11, 2008KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia - Candidates contesting some posts in Malaysia’s ruling party will be required to set up blogs, an official said Friday in a surprising turnaround for governing politicians who until recently derided online political writing as lies and rumors.
Abdul Rahman Dahlan, secretary general of the United Malays National Organization party’s youth wing, said all those vying for national youth posts must have blogs to introduce themselves and their programs ahead of party elections in December.
“All candidates must have blogs,” Abdul Rahman told The Associated Press. “If not, they are not qualified to be leaders.”
In the past, party politicians have accused bloggers of spreading lies and rumors. Many of Malaysia’s blogs contain critical commentary on the government.
Ironic, right? It is indeed.

sigh….more internet traffic…more lies….more rumors…more chaos….
imagine when all the politicians are also into blogging…then really is the time where, really, nobody knows what to read….
the last space of possible “truth” - the internet, is also going to be another messy channel (not that it is not yet already is….)
but, i guess more monkeys in the internet is fun then :-) hee hee….more monkey shows to see…
KJ: Readers always have the right to choose which blog they want to access to or read, not like the mainstream media in our nation.
