We “have” to vote the party IF we want to have an easy living? Is that a threatening? Besides, when Mr Muhammad Muhammad Taib, you will look at the BIG picture for our nation?

I take his words as threatening. Use your vote and show them what democracy is!

Vote for BN for easy living, Chinese urged

CHINESE voters have been urged to vote for Barisan Nasional if they want to “make an easy living.”

Nanyang Siang Pau yesterday quoted Umno information chief Tan Sri Muhammad Muhammad Taib as saying that only the Barisan Government understood the aspirations of the Chinese.

The majority of Malaysian Chinese, he said, wanted to make an easy living.

However, some Chinese voters were reported to be feeling that they could teach Barisan a lesson by voting for the Opposition.**

“If the Chinese want to make an easy living, they should ensure the Barisan Government is strong,” he told the daily.

“If some states fall into Opposition hands, the people may find it hard to make a living,” he added, noting that investors may also shy away from the country if it was not stable. He said calls by the Opposition to vote for them to teach the Barisan a lesson was a trap.

“The people should not be influenced by the Opposition and vote with their emotions,” he added. Muhammad noted that if the people voted in a weak Government, development plans may be affected.

** for your information, other Malaysians who understand well what democracy is will do that too. Don’t be racist all the time. It is time to look at BIG picture for nation. The World is becomes small and very competitive nowadays, we really need to move forward in many sectors instead of keep on arguing at this matter.

Investors will run away because of too many red tapes, no transparencies, corruption, safety problems and you name it. Development plans? So far, all the plans are on the papers, on the ground?
