How much time does he needs?
I strongly believe many Malaysians (except those are(were) corrupted) will welcome and please the ACA’s move to be an independent body for fighting the corruption in Malaysia. The ACA had submitted their proposal to Prime Minister, their suggested ACA could follow the operations of the Hong Kong Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC).
The proposal is with PM now, how much time he needs to study it and make it become true? IF he is really want to fight the corruption in our nation, he should approve it as soon as possible. Perhaps, by that time these mysteries X-files could be solved. Will he dares make it as a goal?
Pak Lah looking at proposal for an independent ACA
KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi is studying a proposal for the Anti-Corruption Agency to become an independent body. The Prime Minister confirmed yesterday that he had just received the proposal, saying he would make a decision on it soon.
“The proposal is with me and I am looking at it,” he told reporters after launching the Barisan Nasional MPs retreat at a hotel here.
It was reported yesterday that ACA deputy director-general Datuk Abu Kassim Mohamed and director-general Datuk Ahmad Said Hamdan had met Abdullah on Thursday to discuss the proposal.
Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Seri Nazri Aziz was quoted as saying that the ACA had proposed to follow the operations of the Hong Kong Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC).
By the way, when the IPCMC will be set?
