SHAH ALAM, Jan 15 (Bernama) — Transparency, accountability, comprehensive participation of all stakeholders and predictability — these are four principles of governance that must be adopted by all Selangor government employees.

Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Mohamad Khir Toyo said transparency must exist in the decision-making process and drawing up of plans which must be based on existing public interests, laws, policies, guidelines and regulations.

“Not only that the decisions must be fair but they must also be seen to be fair.

“We should not expect it’s enough to make a good decision, the process leading to the decision must also be flawless,” he said at the state government employees monthly gathering, here Monday.
