International Women’s Day gathering calls for end to gender discrimination
PETALING JAYA: Some 500 women line-dancers gathered at a park early Thursday morning to celebrate International Women’s Day 2007.

“We are smart women and we shall not succumb to discriminations of any sort by anyone at all,” she said after leading the warming up session.
“We, women have contributed a lot to nation building, and by branding women as the weaker gender, is in itself a form of violence and discrimination,” Wanita MCA deputy chief Datin Paduka Chew Mei Fun said.

Perhaps she should keep on reminding her colleagues every now and then, right?
Add one more - Don’t only voice the fight during the special day like this.
