Does it sound blaming?

Bursa Malaysia stock index still reported dropped today. But, I really don’t know how media should report in newspaper about the share market dropped if according to the Information Minister’s Theory.

Zam Regrets Media Played Up Drop In Stock Index
ALOR STAR, March 4 (Bernama) — Information Minister Datuk Seri Zainuddin Maidin said he was disappointed that the local media played up last week’s fall in the Bursa Malaysia stock index.

“Such reports are of no help at a time when the country’s leaders, including Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, are saying that our economy is on the right track with strong fundamentals.”

Zainuddin said the government had repeatedly stated the economy was strong and it was needless to play up the drop in the stock index. He said Abdullah himself had said there was nothing to worry about the drop in the stock index because investors continued to have confidence in the economy.

How about report it like this (for example only)

On whatever date ~ KLCI dropped XX points. Need no panic; the economy is stable and strong.
On next day ~ KLCI dropped XX points. No need to panic, economy is firm and strong.
On the day after next day ~ KLCI dropped xx points. Still need no panic, the economy is really strong.

Can you share your feeling after read those news reports?

That’s why Malaysia is upside down. We had ministers who cared for nothing except to carry balls and allow the people to suffer. The only issue he made out is the Nilai memorials stone. Sorry state of government.
