Does it sound a group of “licensed” bully?
Fine mess, says tailor in MPK incident
KLANG: Humiliated and enraged, that’s how Pua Chia Teng feels after several Klang Municipal Council (MPK) enforcement officers dragged him from his shop and bundled him into a car before taking him to the police headquarters here, all over a parking fine.
We already read many complaints against RELA for abusing their power. But, now we have to add another one, the Municipal enforcement officer.
Does Malaysia no Laws to protect the harmless citizen at all? Look at this case, a group of municipal enforcement officers walked into citizen private premises (a shop, in this case) and dragged a person out from the shop.
Wow! They are more powerful than police! Even police can’t simply walk into private premises to put a person under arrest. They must show the court warrant before they can do that. They no need, they are more powerful than the whole country enforcement force!
I doubt which Laws or which local government laws authorise municipal enforcement officer this right to do so? It just like simply any one of them can walk in to your house and “drag” you out from the house! I just feel like we have a group of “licensed” bully around.
IF you say that guy violate the local laws then issue him a ticket. IF he becomes violence, then call the police! They are not authorising to put a person under arrest with their own force! IF yes, then our society should be very safe, low crimes but why still in other way round?
Malaysians, please do some homework, know your basic rights!

I think the law enforcement should take proper steps in arresting the “citizen” in issuing a warrant first before dragging him into a car from his property.
I meant, since most of the citizens are not law abiding, and I see no harm at all in using some “enforcement”. Well, if you don’t want to be one of them, please abide the law. Otherwise, the law enforcement agency will come and get you..
