笨珍議員:土著店鋪僅15%‧隆怡檳不再像大馬城市

(吉隆坡)巫統笨珍區國會議員阿末瑪士蘭形容,大馬的大城市,如吉隆坡、怡保及檳城已不再像“大馬的城市”,因為土著所擁有的店鋪僅佔15%,但土著卻佔66%大馬人口。

“這些大城市仿佛不像馬來西亞,因為在100家商店中,只有15%是土著所擁有,這是很不公平的!”

阿末瑪士蘭參與2009年財政預算案委員會階段辯論時指出,土著所擁有的店鋪目前僅佔15%、土著中小型企業佔11%、土著出口業者佔26%及土著股權佔19%。

他抨擊政府在過去50年努力協助土著,但至今卻未見成效。 [......]

Confirmed: Jalan Alor remains, no name change

KUALA LUMPUR: Mayor Datuk Ab Hakim Borhan confirmed that the “Jalan Alor” name will be retained after meeting with the Federal Territory-Kuala Lumpur road-naming committee.

He said the committee was aware of the signficance of the name to the people, businesses and tourists.[......]
