“Don’t be too harsh because one day they may become leaders and pillars of our country. Give them a new image and change the negative impression of them,” Deputy Information Minister Datuk Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said Tuesday said of the illegal motorcycle racers.

I’m sorry. I’m afraid I’m not very supportive to his remarks. How about you?

HE is in the Information Ministry; perhaps he is very busy and has forgotten about negative news in mainstream newspaper.

Mat rempit can help to solve snatch thief problems?

To Whom It May Concern, perhaps you should look at these news reports after you have voiced so “unique” idea for Mat Rempit

On Sunday, a group of Mat Rempit robbed four motorists in separate incidents and yesterday, a gang comprising 13 of them raped a 14-year-old girl. The girl, a restaurant helper, was abducted by five men and taken to a water catchment area near Mengkuang Dam at 10pm where they raped her. Her misery was aggravated when they contacted their friends. Eight Mat Rempit then turned up and raped her too.

On the early Sunday morning, groups of Mat Rempit had gone on a robbing spree in Seberang Prai. Two groups of Mat Rempit robbed a family of four and another man of a total of RM750 in separate incidents between 4am and 5am. The family was robbed of RM500 while the motorist was robbed of RM250.

The chief of Putera Umno said mat rempit (illegal motorbike racer) can help to solve the snatch thief problems in Malaysia. Possible? How? Like this?

If I’m not mistaken, mat rempit getting more and more aggressive now. They even challenged police and disturbed the Sultan of Pahang. Well, just because this?
