Zainuddin Likens Some Bloggers To Karaoke Singers

SUNGAI PETANI, Aug 24 (Bernama) — Information Minister Datuk Seri Zainuddin Maidin today likened bloggers to karaoke singers who take pleasure in their own singing but have no influence although they claimed to have received millions of hits.

He said some people might enjoy their “singing”, especially those who shared their views, but many rejected them because they sang “out of tune” and their views were unacceptable to the majority of the people.

However, his former BOSS had different opinion about Bloggers (view the video clip at Malaysiakini.tv)

During the session with bloggers and writers organized by NGO Majlis Prihatin Malaysia on August 15, ex-premier Dr Mahathir Mohamad mentioned numerous times that bloggers play an important role in exposing government wrong-doings.

He kept on saying that Bloggers are not post a threat or influence a lot but SIOK sendiri, why he voice so much or worries so much?
