A new era begins

Friend of mine told me this in the year 1995 in Penang,

When other party(ies) successfully forms Penang state government instead of BN, people will be the winner. Why? The other party(ies) will work hard in order to get people support again in future. They will work to deliver their promises during campaign. On the other hand, BN will works hard too in order to gain back support from people. As the result, that state will move much forward and better. Who will enjoy the benefits? People, people will enjoy it.

Unfortunately, this never happened in Penang for the last decades until today. We will see whether his words will become true or not. The concept also applies to other states too, we’ll see.

We have had sent a clear message to all politic parties; We are the BOSS, we can vote them in, we also can vote them out.

Don’t blame the other parties for misleading people. During the campaign period mainstream media were bias to BN, but, people were not buy their words. People are not stupid. They used their ballot to send message. Face it, admit it, be gentlemen and ladies.

This is really a Malaysia Boleh! It’s like jeopardizing our future by being against BN but still looking forward for new people, new ideas. hope they will carry out their duty well, if not we kick them out in the next election.

Hope that this is a lesson for BN to reflect their wrong-doings and be better next time. But if they still couldn’t realize their mistakes, what a shame!

KJ: It is not jeopardizing our future. We must have this in mind, We can vote them in we can vote out. IF everyone have this in their mind, the ruling party(ies) will works hard and carefully. However, we don’t practise this for last few decades until this election

although it is said that “we are the boss”, we can vote them in and vote them out, but, how many rounds of voting in and out we can afford? although Malaysia is only a young nation that is starting to play a role in the international stage, the competition is tough around this region.

We NEED to groom the next generation of leaders, do what Singapore does, start with Penang. The elites are absorbed into government planning bodies and agencies, who are paid the “market” rate and not the public servant rate. We are suffering for not having good/right people in the political arena. Those who joined politic are not really qualified…. to some extent, having the heart and courage is commendable, but not having the capabilities is really a BIG CONCERN.

We are the boss, but have we been a GOOD BOSS so far, other than complaining the people that WE put into places are not performing up to our expectation…..while telling some politicians not to blame others, are we any different by keep blaming the people that we put in the position did not do well?

    KJ: ;)
