How much time you need to spend in order to get 5,000,000 Malaysia Ringgit? Assuming you get 5,000 Malaysia Ringgit pay as your monthly salary, then, you need to work for 1000 months (pay no taxes and not spend even 1 sen) in order to have this amount of money. Now, how many of Malaysians have this kind income in a month?

We have a man build a four-storey mansion (17 rooms with toilet and bathroom attached in each room) cost 5 million Malaysia Ringgit on a land (43,000 sq ft) alienated to his wife. That land is mainly for low-cost houses at Kampung Idaman, Pandamaran, Selangor, Malaysia.

Who is he? He is Port Klang assemblyman and Klang municipal councillor Datuk Zainal @ Zakaria Mat Deros. Besides, he, his son Zainuri and daughter-in-law Roselinda Abdul Jamil have been appointed Klang municipal councillors despite objections recently. Wow…great, right?

What Selangor Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Mohd Khir Toyo says about that “Palace”?

The first response (12th October 2006): I don’t know, I am still waiting for report. (He is the boss but he does not know anything. Poor him, right?)

What Selangor Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Mohd Khir Toyo says about that the appointment for councillor of the Klang Municipal Council?
He said: “In the regulations, it does not say that people who break the law cannot be appointed as councillors. We appoint councillors according to party positions. This is decided by the party, so anything concerning the party, we will refer back to the party management committee.

“I will follow orders which state that the appointment of councillors should be according to party positions.”

What Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi says about this?
He said: “I leave it to him (Khir) to take the appropriate action against Zakaria according to the necessary laws*”

What is the pay for an assemblyman? How possible for an assemblyman to build 5 million Malaysia Ringgit four-storey mansion (17 rooms with toilet and bathroom attached in each room) with his “regular” salary? What ACA does here? Yes, they did something, then what? Take note here, his salary is paid from tax payers’ money! He is a government server only, a person who serves the people and not the people serve to him!

How many people in Malaysia are homeless? Let’s do a simple maths here. Assuming a house cost 100,000 Malaysia Ringgit in that area. 5 million Malaysia Ringgit can build 50 houses for 50 families! What make him qualify to stay in a Palace?

* LAWS?

Can LAWS take this kind of people down (completely) in Malaysia?

Can LAWS protect well low income Malaysians?

What to him next? Will he bring in front of justice? Will he be jailed? Will he be fined? Come on, he can build a 5 million Malaysia Ringgit “Palace”; that amount of FINE is “kacang putih” (means nothing) to him.
