Media boycott over Parliament access
Beh Lih Yi | Jun 24, 08 10:52am

More than 100 journalists are staging a boycott after the Parliament administration cut media access to the building’s lobby and barricaded the area. In protest, journalists from all print, online and electronic media have decided to only cover the proceedings in the Dewan Rakyat and boycott all press conferences or events held outside of the chamber.

Media has called off their boycott today after the “RED barricades” were removed. I believe no one can guarantee no “surprise decision” in Parliament in future.

I feel very funny and ironic when I read words of Deputy speaker, (more…)

Report cards
picture adapted from NST

I learned this from Lulu and Susan Loone. The NST is running a series of reports (100 days in office) for Penang state government. They also present with a report card which I think it is too early jump to conclusion!

Since NST so hard working to have a report card for Penang perhaps other non-BN leads state governments, why don’t have a report card for the federal government which also almost 100 days in office too? NST can base on price of daily goods and petrol as material for the report card of Federal Government 100 days in office. NST dares?

After read the news in details, (more…)
