Are we lacking intelligence 02?

Friday, May 30th, 2008

I was very angry and so disappointed with the so-called “Justification of police” by Deputy Home Minister Chor Chee Heung in Malaysiakini yesterday. Today, my morning is spoiled by this news in Guangming Chinese daily.

In the news, (more…)

Frankly, my blood is boiling after finished reading these news in Malaysiakini.

The police were acting within their jurisdiction and have been painted incorrectly by residents and the media, says the deputy home minister.

Does he pretend to be deaf and dumb? He also said don’t listen to Malaysiakini news report only. What about words from that reporter who was there that time? His words also can’t be trusted?

The FIRST is so important?

Thursday, May 29th, 2008

Learned this from The Sensintrovert: Should We Continue Giving MSM Chances If They Keep On Publishing Factually Fatally Flawed news?. May I ask the FIRST is such important in this case?

Last month, a final year student of Bac. Forensic Science of local university (that university claimed that they are the FIRST in the scene) wrote a letter to Malaysiakini (letter in Chinese, translation in English can be found at here) highlighted their current situation in that field. In less than a month, we heard another local university come out with this programme and claimed the FIRST in ASIA. (more…)

Can police act like this?

Thursday, May 29th, 2008

I was a bit shame hiding this video clips (adapted from Malaysiakini TV) in my previous post entry (Gangster attack). However, after reconsidering for N times, I think it is better to share this in a new post entry.

It is really SAD to see how Police “act” on a citizen. If he break the laws why can’t police handle the matter with civilized way? Ask yourself, do you prefer having a group of police like this?

Don’t listen to me, read this news (for those don’t subscribe Malaysiakini*) and think it. (more…)

Gangsters attack

Wednesday, May 28th, 2008

I learned this incident from Sim’s blog this morning. After read these news in English and Chinese (details information can be found in this piece of news) I feel very disturb and very, very, very angry.

Who is behind this group of Gangsters and what the police had done (according to the news they were there monitoring but not come forward to protect the residents)? Why armless residents of Bandar Mahkota Chera must be treated like that? This problem was GENERATED while previous state government still in house. Who signed the contract with the highway company? What kind of terms in that contract? Who knows? BUT, you think it is okay with you? IF you are, (more…)

ASEAN should do something

You can contribute a little bit for

China Earthquake Relief Fund

Figures collected from various UN agencies by the International Federation of the Red Cross indicate that between 68,833 and 127,990 people were killed by Cyclone Nargis that swept Myanmar early this month.

And the UN is now warning that 2.5 million people are facing hunger and disease.

Until today, military government of Myanmar still doesn’t very welcome any helpers from around the World to give aid for the victims of Cyclone. I do believe the situation there should be become worst now. ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) should do something in terms of humanity for the victims of Cyclone in Myanmar. What a shame we have such association in Southeast Asia region but do nothing. ASEAN should press the Myanmar government accept aids from around the World in terms of HUMANITY. (more…)

Friday, May 23rd, 2008

After read this outdated and narrow minded piece of remarks,

I would like to share my experience. (more…)

What if the other way round?

Friday, May 23rd, 2008

I’m a question in my mind, what about his daughter(s) and his wife (perhaps wives) thought about his words? He said one of the reasons marital problems happened is

“Such problems happen because women cannot accept polygamy. From a preventive point of view, what about doing a big campaign so that women can accept polygamy?”

and he also said, (more…)
