Of course, you don’t see any
Thursday, September 27th, 2007‘What crisis? I don’t see any’
There is no crisis in the judiciary and neither is there any scandal involved, said Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Mohd Nazri Abdul Aziz. And he blamed the opposition for creating the scandal in order to erode the public confidence in the judiciary.
“No crisis, no problems. I don’t see any scandal,” he was reported as saying in the media today.
You don’t see any because the darkest place is under the candlestick. Yet, a bad workman always blames his tools. So, have you seen it? (more…)
This is nothing related to you?
Wednesday, September 26th, 2007Foreign media used the word “RARE” to describe the Malaysian lawyers walk. (thanks to MageP’s Lab)
Rome is not built in a day.
她继续强调,“律师很少游行,可说当律师们也参加游行时,证明已经出现不妥。我们要求改变司法制度。”
“When lawyers walk, that means there is something wrong. We want changes in the judiciary,” she said.
For those kept on deny it, the best proverbs for them is - (more…)

Improve the public transportation system first!
Monday, September 24th, 2007Congestion fee for KL proposed
STOCKHOLM: Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) is proposing to introduce a congestion fee on motorists.
Mayor Datuk Abdul Hakim Borhan said discussions on the matter would be held before the end of the year and a paper submitted to the Special Cabinet Committee on Public Transportation chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak early next year.
“The public may object to the proposal initially, but they will accept it after they realise the system will improve traffic conditions in the city,” he told reporters after visiting the Stockholm Traffic Control Centre yesterday.
Earlier, Stockholm traffic manager Henrik Sundquist briefed him on how the congestion fee was implemented in the city.
“There were protests when the system was first implemented in Stockholm but after a six-month trial run, it yielded results. There is no more objection,” said Abdul Hakim.
Mayor, you might forgotten to mention how well-established is the public transportation system in Stockholm. Am I wrong about that? Please correct me if I’m.
This congestion fee was mentioned on 19th December 2006 by Mayor of Kuala Lumpur City Hall on his first day in office. The question remains, does the public transportation system in town is well-established?
Please, please. Who likes to spend extra nowadays? (more…)
Add more vinegar to an open wound?
Sunday, September 23rd, 2007What is that all about? Add more salt and vinegar to an open wound on Nurin’s parents?
Have they ever think about build more children daycare centres in housing areas for both parents need to work? Learn from Europe, they have children daycare facilities in almost every housing area. This is a good social care service provided by their Government in Europe.
They (those so-called “brilliant” Ministers) should do this for the sake of children not go after victim’s parents!
Nazri: Law allows Nurin’s parents to be charged for negligence
KUALA KANGSAR: The law allows for Nurin Jazlin Jazimin’s parents to be hauled up for negligence, an offence punishable under Child Act 2001, said Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Seri Mohamed Nazri Aziz.
“The law is still the law … we have to act … no one can be exempted,” he said after handing over RM100,000 worth of zakat (tithe) from Amanah Raya Berhad to the needy at the breaking of fast at Taman Kuala Kangsar here on Saturday.
Have you walk a mile in their shoes?
I don’t, therefore, I recommend you read on this post entry by a mother (blogger too).
May I ask, don’t add more salt or vinegar or acid to an open wound on Nurin’s parents. Could we? (more…)
Cold blood being
Friday, September 21st, 2007Yesterday, my wife told me many sad incidents happened on children back home in this year. She even felt uncomfortable to read the story in newspaper.
Our deepest condolence to Nurin’s family. Leave few words to Nurin’s family at this blog, In Search of Nurin Jazlin (In Memory of Nurin Jazlin) .
When can we have a safe environment in our society not only for children but for all also? When? We have many type of “police” in our society to “enforce” the laws. Logically, our society should be safe in sound. However, the result is the other way round.
I just can’t understand (maybe I’m not smart enough to understand that) what are those “police” doing there? For example, the recent case happened in UPM; university security guard went after a student because he joins unregistered student organisation and blah, blah, blah. Yet, the police in Sri Serdang responded in favour of university security guard. I really wonder what kind of logic is? (more…)
Scandal
Thursday, September 20th, 2007I met a Chinese couple from Shanghai here yesterday. When I told the man I’m Malaysian; the first response from him was “oohh…you are from Singapore”.
After he looked at my face’s expression (like this
) then he said “no,no,no…you are from Bangkok”; and my face’s expression still remained as
Well, from here I can see how well known Malaysia is in the World (although one “brilliant” minister said that Singapore is not a country) but I really prefer Malaysia not famous with BAD reasons.
However, Malaysia did got attention by the world for bad reasons on many occasion and now we have this, Malaysian judicial scandal .
Honestly, I really disappointed. Please use your vote wisely on this coming General Election. (more…)
Seizure of student’s laptop
Wednesday, September 19th, 2007After my short break, this is the first matter make my blood boiled. Want to read more? Here you are.

poster by Mob’s Crib
I would like to ask : How many type of POLICE we need to have in our so-called society and what kind of POLICE we need in our society? Please try to think about my questions here base on the matter happened in UPM.
I wish you can spend some time watch this video clip. If you can’t access it, you can consider the alternative side. Look at the staffs (security guards) attitude! Does it sound like bullies to you? Do you think this kind of people qualified to work as security guard? Possible for them provide a safe and friendly environment to students in university with that kinf od attitude?
We have laws in our country? “Law” mee, ada (got). (more…)
